Recently a new initiative was brought to my attention – the Quay Park Project. The Beaver Planning Commission did not notify the public of this information (at least that I am aware of), however a lot of money has already been spent on the planning – a lot of tax payers money.
The overall gist of the project is to revamp Quay Park, the green spaced nestled between the Court House and Heirloom Restaurant, by adding space for flea market vendors, food trucks, public restrooms and a stage for activities.
Here is the full presentation. Give it a read, wouldja?

What do you think about this? I’m in the ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ mindset. Also, why would we spend more money in Beaver when neighboring towns need more of a boost? The next meeting is September 18th at 7 pm at the Beaver Borough Building. I suggest anyone with an opinion shows up and voices it!
