For many Beaver County residents, the Raccoon Firemen’s Fair is the first sign that summer is officially here. The weather has been off and on for a few weeks now, but starting today, it’s fair week out in Raccoon and we can expect warm temperatures and plenty of fun!
The fair will run from today through Saturday and be open from 6 pm to 10 pm each evening, and then until 11 pm on Saturday.
If funds are tight for you with all those graduation parties this time of year, the Raccoon Firemen’s Fair is a great option to get out on a budget. That’s because both general admission and parking are always free at the fair. There is, however, a $5 admission fee if you’d like to be in the pit during the motocross racing.
If your curious about the action events at the fair, there will be motocross racing on Tuesday and Thursday, quad racing on Wednesday, and tractor pulls on Friday and Saturday.
The fair is also known for holding nightly bingo games, Chinese auctions, door prizes, and a wide selection of some of the best, most un-diet-friendly food you will find anywhere.
