Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy that truly has been molded into what the community needs. We have developed an opt-out only medication synchronization (med sync) model that allows us to focus on more than just filling prescriptions; we offer compression wear fitting, a travel vaccine clinic, drive thru COVID19 & flu shots clinics, on-site vaccine clinics, on-site Ask-The-Pharmacist programs and other community outreach programs. Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy precepts pharmacy students interested in learning about ownership and management of independent pharmacy.

TRAVEL CLINIC

Today, people are traveling more than ever. Whether it's for business or pleasure, mission trips and humanitarian aid, or even students studying overseas. That's why we created the Travel Clinic at Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy—to make it easier for people to access to these important vaccinations. 

The clinic offers immunizations for vaccine-preventable diseases like measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A and B, rabies, Meningococcal disease and others. Vaccinations are performed both at the pharmacy and, upon request, on location. And for adults, no prescription is necessary.

VACCINATIONS

Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy's number one priority is to keep you healthy. Our comprehensive immunization program helps keep you safe from many vaccine-preventable diseases.

The Travel Clinic at Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy offers travel vaccinations for vaccine-preventable diseases like measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A and B, rabies, Meningococcal disease and others. We also provide flu vaccines, pneumonia vaccines, college vaccines, nursing vaccines, the shingles vaccine and more, including special vaccinations required by nursing and veterinarian students.

Vaccinations are performed both at the pharmacy and, upon request, on location. And for adults, no prescription is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome, or we can come to you via our mobile immunization clinic.

Every parent knows how difficult it can be to remember to give their child their prescribed medicine on time and in the correct dosage. All of our medicines come prepared with easy-to-use labels that help you remember dosing schedules, and we verify all dosing based on your child’s weight and age, as a way to double-check for safety. We also offer oral syringes to make it as easy as possible for your child to take their medicine. We even use a special medicine adapter to make sure you’re giving the correct dosage every time.

Nothing is more important than your child’s health. At Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy, you can rest assured knowing that we treat all children as if they were our own. It’s just another way we strive to be a valuable community partner.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

PARTNERING WITH PHYSICIANS FOR INJECTABLE MEDICATIONS

Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy is proud to have been the first injectable medication administration pharmacy site in Beaver County. 

We are certified to administer long-acting, anti-psychotic injectable medications, and the protocols we developed for patient follow-ups has earned us recognition among area physicians, many of which now rely on the pharmacy as a satellite location for injectable medications. We handle reminder calls, manage prescription fills and refills, and report back to the physician to make sure they are up-to-date on their patients' current medication administration records. We also administer B12 shots, methotrexate shots, and intramuscular birth control, saving time for both patients and their doctors.
